Dubravka Turić's debut feature Traces had its world premiere in beautiful Warsaw, where it was screened as part of the Warsaw Film Festival. The film received a wonderful welcome from the audience and the screening was followed by inspiring conversations, as well as a great party.

The premiere screening of the film Illyricum directed by Simon Bogojević Narath has been held in Zagreb's Kaptol Boutique Cinema. The film's large crew gathered at the premiere, as well as colleagues and friends from the film world. The audience welcomed the film with a double round of applause.

The Last Socialist Artefact awarded in Serbia The Last Socialist Artefact awarded in Serbia

The Last Socialist Artefact series has been awarded the Golden Antenna for the best regional series at the Festival of Drama and Series (FEDIS) in Serbia based on audience vote. The Golden Antenna is the tenth recognition for this series in the region and worldwide, and the second recognition based on audience vote.

The Last Socialist Artefact series, directed by Dalibor Matanić and produced by Kinorama, has been honoured with the Special Mention at the Czech Serial Killer festival. The International Festival of TV and Web Series took place in Brno in the second half of September.

Two of our films participated in the Leskovac International Film Directing Festival and we returned home with two awards! How I Learned to Fly by Radivoj Andrić won the Živojin Žika Pavlović Grand Prix for Best Director, while The Staffroom by Sonja Tarokić won third place.

This year, we are returning from the Sarajevo Film Festival with as many as 5 Heart of Sarajevo awards won by the Last Socialist Artefact series. Dalibor Matanić won the Heart of Sarajevo for Best Director, Hana Jušić, Jelena Paljan and Milan F. Živković for Best Screenplay, Izudin Bajrović for Best Leading Actor, and Lana Barić for Best Supporting Actress. Ankica Jurić Tilić received great recognition and took home the Heart of Sarajevo award for Best Drama Series. Congratulations to everyone!

"Staffroom" at festivals across the globe "Staffroom" at festivals across the globe

The Staffroom by Sonja Tarokić continued its international festival distribution in March, April and May 2022 - the film was screened in Switzerland in March at the Stadtkino Basel festival as part of the Female Directors program. It was then screened in Austria in April at the Crossing Europe Film Festival in Linz as well as at the Seattle Film Festival where it had its American premiere, while it was screened in Poland in May in the international selection program at the International Festival of Independent Cinema Off Camera in Krakow.

Three films by Kinorama will be shown at the 69th edition of the Pula Film Festival, which will be held from July 16 to 23: Illyricvm by Simon Bogojević Narath, The Staffroom by Sonja Tarokić and the minority co-production How I Learned to Fly by Radivoj Andrić. All three films will be screened at the Pula Arena: How I Learned to Fly on July 18, Illyricvm on July 21 and The Staffroom on July 22. Tickets can be purchased at all festival sales points at the price of HRK 25.00.

"Staffroom" and "How I learned to fly" at the first edition of the "Vila" festival "Staffroom" and "How I learned to fly" at the first edition of the "Vila" festival

This weekend, from June 3 to 5, the first edition of the "Vila" festival will take place, which will feature "The Staffroom" by Sonja Tarokić and "How I learned to fly" by Radivoje Andrić. The festival is organized in a Serbian national park, in Vrdnik on Fruška gora as part of "Novi Sad 2022 - European Capital of Culture". The festival is part of the "Heroines" program, which was established in honour of poet, journalist and musician Milica Stojanović Srpkinja, and is dedicated to the "heroines of creativity". “The Staffroom” will be screened on Saturday, June 4, and “How I Learned to Fly” on Sunday, June 5. Admission to all events is free of charge.

At the 27th Vilnius International Film Festival, Marina Redžepović won the Best Actress award for her role as Anamarija in The Staffroom. The film was screened as part of the European Debut competition program, and the award was collected by the film's director Sonja Tarokić.

In a competition of 20 films, the Staffroom by screenwriter and director Sonja Tarokić and producer Ankica Jurić Tilić won the "Best Debut" award in the main competition program of the FEST International Film Festival held from February 25 to March 6 in Belgrade. Director Sonja Tarokić and actress Marina Redžepović participated in the press conference and announced three film screenings at this year's, 50th edition of FEST.

On Wednesday, February 16, 2022, the ceremonial premiere of the film "How I learned to fly" directed by Radivoje Raša Andrić was held in as many as three sold-out halls of Belgrade's Kombank Hall. The film is based on a novel by Jasminka Petrović, one of the most prominent Serbian writers for children and young people. Film screenings will start on February 17 in cinemas across Serbia, and its Croatian premiere is planned for the summer of 2022. The film was co-produced by Sense Production (Serbia), Kinorama (Croatia), Art Fest (Bulgaria) and Silverarta (Slovakia), with the support of the Creative Europe and Euroimages programmes.

On February 12, 2022, the Croatian Society of Film Critics announced the winners of the Octavian Award in a special edition of "Special Extras" (in Croatian: Posebni dodaci), a Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT) show. "The Staffroom" by Sonja Tarokić and "Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn" by Radu Jude have won these prestigious awards in the categories of Octavian for best feature film and Octavian for best minority co-production. Twenty-one Croatian film critics took part in the selection of Octavian Award winners, while almost one hundred and fifty Croatian films were competing for the awards, divided into eight categories.

After its European premiere in Karlovy Vary, film the Staffroom, directed by Sonja Tarokić, continues its festival distribution on two continents - in Canada the film was screened at the Calgary International Film Festival, while in India it was screened at two different festivals. It was screened at the European Union Film Festival as part of the European Cinema Today program, while at the International Film Festival in the Indian city of Goa it was screened as part of the World Panorama program.

No-Signal Area continues its festival promotion - at the beginning of November it was screened in the main competition program of the Geneva International Film Festival, followed by its screening in the official competition of the Seriencamp Festival in Munich. In Geneva, the TV series was presented to the audience by director Dalibor Matanić.
